Analytics

If you accept the cookie banner, the site records first-party page views and a few interface events (for example, which filters get used) so we can see which pages are useful. Events go to our own endpoint on Cloudflare and are stored in our own database. They include the page, the referring site, campaign tags on links we post, and a coarse device, browser and operating-system type derived from your user agent, and your country from Cloudflare. Your IP address is used only in memory for rate limiting and is never stored, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking pixels.

Cookies

• _cvb_consent remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics (kept for one year).
• _cvb_vid is a random visitor ID so repeat visits aren't double counted (set only after you accept; one year). A per-tab session ID lives in session storage and is cleared when you close the tab.
• no_track is set only on the site operator's own browsers so their visits are excluded from the numbers.

If you decline, no analytics events are sent.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone, and we do not build advertising profiles. Aggregate numbers (such as total page views) may be discussed publicly.

How to opt out

Decline the cookie banner when it appears. If you accepted earlier, clear the _cvb_consent cookie for this site and the banner will ask again. Browser settings that block cookies also stop analytics.

Hosting and data sources

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to serve pages and may keep standard security and access logs under its own privacy policy. Scores, box scores and play-by-play come from public NCAA data. Player photos belong to the schools' athletics departments and link back to them.
